When we created this image for our social media, it wasn’t just a nice slogan—it was a promise. We built this group to be the exact community we wished we had when we started our own journey. We are doing this because no family should have to navigate this path alone.
Now, that promise is officially becoming a reality. Our very first SM GANT Autism Family Support Group meetup is happening on May 6th, and we are in full preparation mode!
Behind the Scenes: Prepping for May 6th
We want this inaugural event to be incredibly special for every single person who walks through the doors of Newbridge NW Psychology Associates. Right now, our team is hard at work assembling welcome goodie bags for both the youth and the adults.
We want the kids to feel celebrated and the parents to feel immediately seen and pampered. To make this happen, we need our community to rally behind us.
How You Can Help Us Launch While we are deeply committed to subsidizing the cost for families so that money is never a barrier, running this program and expanding our reach relies on the generosity of our community. We are currently seeking donations to help finalize the event preparations and fill our May 6th goodie bags.
Here are the best ways to support the launch:
Financial Donations: Every single contribution goes directly toward funding the activities, securing the space, and keeping this program alive. A monetary donation allows us to purchase exactly what is needed for the goodie bags and event supplies.
Item Donations (Local Businesses): Whether your company wants to become a financial sponsor, donate goods or services for our youth activities (like art supplies or snacks)... your involvement makes a massive, immediate impact right here in your own community.

When: May 6th (and the first Wednesday of every month)
Time: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Cost should never block your family from finding a community. Services are highly subsidized by SM GANT Ministries so no family is ever turned away
